Broad Street: A Comfortable Place

The Broad Street Baking Company attracts a pretty eclectic crowd.

In one corner, you'll see one of Jackson's closet novelists swigging coffee and composing a best-seller on his laptop. In a nearby booth, you'll spy a couple of soccer moms comparing their schedules over a slice of Italian cream cake.

Go-Juice on the Honor System

On the far right of our coffee bar, you'll find a unique feature: a skip-the-register, pay-as-you-go, coffee till. In a hurry? The coffee till makes it possible for you to scoot in, grab a cup of your favorite Broad Street go-juice, and scoot back out again -- in record time. There's no line: you just drop in your money, snag your to-go cup, fill it up, and you're on your way.

Sunday Breakfast at Broad Street

It's Sunday. You're in Jackson. It's nine o'clock. You want a great breakfast.

What are your options?

You could snag a styrofoam plate of plastic flapjacks at Mickey D's. At any one of several big chain restaurants, you could belly up to a grease-laden, all-you-can-eat-buffet. And you could always go for the "sweet and sticky special" down at the Multinational House of Waffles.

Or you could go upscale with a fresh, tasty breakfast at the Broad Street Baking Company.

Dinner time brings the addition of Pizzas and Pastas to the Broad Street menu... and now, you can have them at a discount! 

Call in or dine in between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday - Saturday (we close after lunch on Sundays) and your ENTIRE ORDER WILL BE DISCOUNTED 15%. 

This means dinner, drinks, desserts, pastries, everything on the menu!  The only exceptions are catering items (sandwich trays, dessert trays, cheese & fruit trays, etc), gift baskets, and retail cheese and condiments.  Everthing else is fair game!

The Early Bird Special is good for call in and take out as well as dine in... the only rule is that the orders must be placed between 4 and 6 p.m.!

Breakfast Menu

At Broad Street, breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. through 10:45 a.m. every day. In addition to our bakery-fresh baked goods, we offer everything from omelets to cheese grits. If you're feeling especially health-conscious, you can always ask the chef to substitute Egg Beaters (TM) for eggs in any dish for just $1.00. And where else in Jackson can you go for homemade granola?

Dessert Menu

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a delectable array of homemade cookies, bars, brownies, cakes, and house specialties! Treat yourself at lunch ... stop by in the afternoon for a snack ... or follow up a selection from our great dinner menu with coffee and dessert.

Kid's Menu

Our children's menu is for customers twelve and under who are dining with adults. All the meals comes with a choice of Zapp's potato chips, a green or Caesar salad, a cup of soup, or a fresh fruit cup, a small drink, and a choice of cookie.

Soups, Salads, and Quiches

Broad Street soups are hand made from scratch each day. Watch out! We've been known to change the soup of the day at a moment's notice! All our soups are served with a slice of fresh bread.

Our salads come tossed in the house-made dressing noted and are served with a slice of fresh bread. Dressing substitutions are no problem, and we're always happy to serve your dressing "on the side." Just ask!

Salad dressing choices include: house-made Ceasar, balsamic vinaigrette, hot can syrup bacon, fat-free sun-dried tomato basil, or a to-go packet of ranch.

Sandwiches, Wraps, and More
